A Look At Process

I felt compelled to post this pic of my latest comics “script,” because it falls outside of my regular way of doing comics.  I usually start with sketches, then a script, then more formal layouts.  To my two or three fans, you can see how that’s been working for me.  Anyway, this was all done on a “Biggie” 14 x 17 sketch book and sheets from one of those free notepads they send you in the mail with your quarterly statement (the equivalent to writing your short story on bar napkins, I believe).

  1. This is very cool. I love this kind of behind-the-scenes stuff. Thanks.

I like this kind of stuff too.

The actual comic itself is starting to take shape. You can see the first panel (pencils, partial inks) on my Facebook wall. All in all, very happy with the progress and really enjoying throwing myself into drawing again.
