More Lovecraftian Audio

In the spirit of the season and the release of the MuseionCast Halloween Extra Number 1 “A Lovecraftian Obligation,” I felt like sharing some links to two other similarly-themed audio stories.

1.) “The Haunter of the Dark.” Written by the man from Providence himself, read by the great Andrew Leman (director of the HPLHS‘s Call of Cthulhu feature), music by Chad Fifer with Chris Lackey.  This hour-long rendition of the classic story is a truly spooky treat.  Can’t recommend it enough.

2.) “Jerusalem’s Lot.” Not to be confused with the novel ‘Salem’s Lot, this story was also written by Stephen King and appears in the collection Night Shift.  This is a great reading of the story (sorry I don’t know who the reader is).  The story is horrific fun, and King really piles on the Lovecraftian elements in this homage to the master.  Give it a listen in the dark.
